He stood in the center of the decorated hall, knife glinting under the lights, his eyes locked on Avni. Guests gasped, whispers rippled, but no one dared to step in.
Ayansh voice cold, trembling with anger
"You killed her, Avni. My wife. Don't you dare deny it here, in front of everyone."
Avni froze, her bangles clinking as her hands shook. Tears blurred her vision, but she met his gaze.
Avni pleading, her voice breaking
"Mr. Rai Singhania... please, believe me. I didn't do it. I could never..."
He took a step closer, rage burning in every line of his face.
Ayansh cutting her off, harshly
"Lies. That's all you give me. Don't stand here, pretending innocence when you've already stained your hands with her blood."
The words hit harder than the blade ever could. Avni's chest heaved, her body trembling as the family looked on-Meera's eyes welled, Rishi clenched his fists, Naina covered her mouth.
Avni sobbing, her voice cracking under the weight
"Why... why can't you see the truth? Why can't you see me? I swear on everything-I didn't-"
Ayansh furious, shouting
"Admit it!"
That was the moment something inside her shattered. Her tears streamed freely as her lips trembled.
Avni crying out, broken
"Fine! Yes! If that's what you want, then I did it! What else can I say when you've already decided I'm guilty?"
The music outside still playing, a cruel contrast to the scene unfolding. Her hands shot forward, wrapping around the knife in his grasp.
Avni voice trembling, eyes locked on his
"Barbaad ho gaye hum... aapke pyar mein. Aur aap hai ki humpe bharosa bhi na kar sake."
Before Ayansh could move, she drove the blade into herself. A scream tore through the hall as her body collapsed.
